IIT Guwahati’s BSc (Hon) in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Programme Highlights
- This programme is designed to prepare students to meet the demands of the industry. Upon completion, the students will be well-equipped with essential qualifications, skills, and resources to pursue various roles in the technology sector.
- Students admitted to the programme may choose their pace and course of study. A student can register to lesser number of courses than prescribed in a given trimester. The programme will be online and offered on Coursera platform targeting the international learners too.
- The programme is designed for working professionals for enhancing their skills on the contemporary technologies as well as for those who have recently completed Class XII.
- The programme facilitates optional 4-week campus immersion plan for hands-on training at IIT Guwahati. The programme has multi-entry and multi-exit options.

Eligibility & Admission
- Eligibility: Class XII or equivalent with at least 60% marks and Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
- Admission:
- Eligible candidates will be required to enroll into an online course, based on basic Mathematics, developed specifically for this program.
- Applicants will be ranked using a Composite Score that considers their performance in Class X, XII, and the online course.
- Admission will be given based on the rank obtained.
- Alternatively, applicants eligible to appear in JEE (Adv) and have registered for it (in any year) will be given direct admission.
