Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites applications for its prestigious PhD Programme (Practice Track) in Management.

Academic Eligibility

One of the following qualifications is required as basic eligibility:
• a. Master’s or Post Graduate Diploma (2 yrs) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• b. Professional qualifications of CA, ICWA and CS with B Com/Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent.

Work Experience Eligibility

• Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years full-time work experience after graduation.

The test will be conducted by TCS at PAN India locations including test centres in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

• • IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of following sections:

Stage III: Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)

• •  The announcement of Call for Personal Interviews (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) will be done in First/ Second Week of May 2020. The shortlisting will be based on the IPM AT 2020 scores.

• •  The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.

•  The interviews are proposed to be held Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Rohtak tentatively in 3^rd and 4^th week of May 2020.

 Stage IV:  Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance 

• •  The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score as mentioned below:

• • The announcement of Merit List and sending of Offer Letters to the selected candidates will be done by Second Week of June 2020. The candidates receiving the offer letter for IIM Rohtak IPM Admission 2020 and accepting the offer within the stipulated date will require to deposit Offer Acceptance Amount (as mentioned in the offer letter) through online payment link.

Stage V: Provisional Admission to IPM 02 (2020-25)

• • The candidates accepting the offer of admission to IPM 02 (2020-25) will be given confirmation letter. The candidate is required to pay the First Year Programme Fee (as mentioned in the confirmation letter) and need to report to the institute campus for on campus registration in first week of July 2020 as per the communicated schedule.

• If the candidate registers for the programme, his/her OAA will be adjusted with the First Year Programme Fee.

• Further, on the day of reporting in the campus for registration, the admission team will do physical verification of the documents.
• Withdrawal of OAA: In case a candidate withdraws after paying the Offer Acceptance Amount, the OAA will be refunded after deducting processing charges of Rs. 20,000/-

• Withdrawal of Provisional Registration: In case a candidate withdraws before the in-campus registration, the first year programme fee will be refunded after deducting processing charges as per the norms.

• Last Date for any withdrawal of Offer will be ‘On or before the date of On Campus Registration’. No refund of programme fee will be permissible after the date of registration.
• The academic session will begin in First week of August 2020. The allocation of hostel room to the candidate will be done on sharing basis. Hostel rooms for DAP category will be arranged on the ground floor.

Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in IIM Indore

Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London (4th and 5th Year). It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. 

After 3 years of intensive study of foundational disciplines, the IPM students train as managers along with the students of the Institute’s 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), undertaking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5.

IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of year 2, and a business internship between years 4 and 5. This experiential learning inculcates leadership qualities in them and hones their managerial skills further.

The Indian Institutes of Management Act 2017 came into force from January 31, 2018. At the end of the five year Integrated Programme, the participants would be awarded with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Programme) by IIM Indore on successful completion of programme requirements.

Selection Process

The students undergo a rigorous selection process:

• An application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant.
• An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
• Shortlisted candidates appear for Written Ability Test (WA) & Personal Interview (PI). The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

The course fee for resident Indians for the first three years of the IPM would be Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh) per annum and Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees six lakh) per annum for International applicant. IIM Rohtak introduces a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from under-graduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG). On successful completion of academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded with Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Rohtak.  If any student intends to exit after successfully completing the programme requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

The programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. A year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on the management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.

Admission process to MBA programs of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee will be conducted jointly in the academic session 2020-2022.

1. Candidates having a valid CAT 2019 scores can apply online for admission to MBA program, session 2020-2022 of IIT(ISM), Dhanbad through Common Admission Portal, which will open one day after the publication of CAT 2019 result i.e., in first week of January, 2020.
2. Closing Date of Application Process: 31st January, 2020
3. Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective institute.
4. Interview process will be conducted in 5 cities: Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Roorkee. Applicants need to give three preferences. The Institutes retain the final right to hold or not to hold the interview process in any given location. The candidates must be prepared to be interviewed in any location notwithstanding the city preferences given by them
5. The application process is common to all the four institutes. There will be only one common WAT and interview process for those who apply to more than one institute.
6. Final selection list will be announced by the respective institute in third/last week of April, 2020.

Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all the requirements for the qualifying degree before start of the program and will produce provisional certificate of completion of the program latest by September 30, 2020.
3. Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective institute.

Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT 2019) – Result, Exam information

The Indian Institutes of Management conduct a computerbased Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT 2019) on November 24, 2019 in two sessions. Detailed information on CAT 2019 may be obtained from the CAT website.

CAT 2019 is a pre-requisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow programmes of IIMs. CAT 2019 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)

IIMs are considered India’s premier national institutes providing quality management education and research. IIMs primarily offer post graduate, doctoral and executive education programmes. The flagship programme of IIMs is the two-year post-graduate programme. These two year programmes are residential in nature. The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a fulltime doctoral level programme in management and is equivalent to a Ph.D. programme.
