Top Institutes/Universities from Assam & North East India in NIRF 2020 Ranking

The 2020 National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF) judged the institutions and universities in the country on various parameters. The rankings of the 2020 NIRF ranked many universities from NE states among best in India. Many institutes from this region are ranked for the first time.

Institutes from  North East Regions also come out good but as compared to other regions, a lot needs to be done to improve education in the region.

Best Universities from Assam & North East India in NIRF 2019 Ranking

The Govt of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD)’s framework of ranking national institutes has stepped in its fourth year. The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind announced the NIRF Ranking 2019 on 8^th April 2019.

Tezpur University is the highest ranked university from Assam and North East region. Indian Institute of Science Bangalore topped the all India ranking.

NIRF 2019 Ranking of Best B-school in India: IIM Bangalore Tops the List. Six IIMs made it the list of top 10 management colleges in India.

In the management category, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has overtaken IIM-Ahmedabad to be the most coveted B-school in the country. Six IIMs made it the list of top 10 management colleges in India, as compared to only four IIMs in last years TOP 10.
