NIT Silchar MBA Admission 2020-2022 – Application Form, Last Date extended

EXTENSION IN THE DATE OF RECEIVING OF MBA APPLICATION FORM 2020-22

Due to the prevailing condition of the outbreak of COVID 19, the last date for receiving the soft copy of the MBA application form via e-mail (nits.mba.admission@gmail.com) along with all the testimonials (including the proof of payment of application fee) is extended till 15th May 2020 and the last date for receiving of the hard copy of the application form along with all testimonials and proof of payment of the application fees at NIT Silchar is extended till 30th May 2020.

All other dates related to admission to MBA Programme 2020-22 shall be

Tezpur University Admission 2020 – MBA (2 Year – Full Time)

Total no. of seats: 51

Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (except fine arts) with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in major from a recognized Indian or Foreign University / Institution (foreign degree must have UGC approval) . Students in their final year of degree programme and expecting to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks by October 30, 2020 may also apply.

Selection: Eligible candidates desirous of seeking admission to the MBA programme are to appear in the MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT and score of the Test should be valid till the day of Personal Interaction.

Based on their performance in the MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT, short-listed applicants will be called for Personal Interaction, which they have to appear at Tezpur University at their own cost.

Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per GoI Rules.

How to apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the university website (URL: https://www.tezuadmissions.com) by paying application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC, ST and PWD category).

Payment of the application fee (with late fee, if applicable) may be made through Debit Card/ Credit Card or net-banking. Detailed procedure will be available on
the website. Candidates should read and follow the instructions carefully while filling up the online application form.

The objective of the Working Executive Masters in Business Administration (WE-MBA) is to help in-service professionals to enhance their professional competence. The programme would guide participants to discover and develop their potential and help them to assume greater responsibilities and higher managerial roles in their careers. Taking forward the vision and mission of IIM Shillong the program is designed to educate in-career managers in the principles of Responsible Business Management. Wherein the Core Courses in the first year would cover the Fundamentals in Management Science and Practice, in the second year, the participants would have a choice to select courses from a basket of elective courses across different functional domains.

The program in agreement with the global understanding for responsible business management would adhere to the following principles in design and delivery of its curriculum:

The program is offered as non-residential weekend contact program at Guwahati Campus to suit the requirements of the working professionals. Eligibility

• A Bachelor’s Degree* or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA and
• A minimum of 5 Years of work experience** after successful completion of the above qualification as on last date of application.

*Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized University. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

**Work experience after completion of the qualifying degree only will be considered.

Admission & Selection

All desiring candidates are required to qualify a selection process, which consists of a written test followed by a personal interaction process.

A candidate may either apply by providing a valid CAT/GMAT score or appear for WEMAT (Working Executive Management Aptitude Test) of the Institute. Eligibility of the candidates for the interview process would be ascertained based on the information provided in the application form.

All eligible candidates are required to produce the original academic & work experience records for verification on the date of Personal Interview.

Selection at IIM Shillong is always a function of the candidates’ overall rank and the number of seats available for the program and other relevant parameters. Institute follows the Government of India policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions.
