CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CUCET-2019)
CUCET is a combined entrance test organized for providing admission into various UG, PG & other courses offered by the central universities across India. This year’s coordinating university for conduct of test is Central University of Rajasthan.

ADMISSION 2019-2020
- 14 Central Universities, established by an Act of Parliament and the Bengaluru Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics registered under the Karnataka Societies
- Registration Act of 1960, jointly organize Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2019) for various Programmes.
- The test will be conducted at different centres across the country on 25 – 26 May, 2019.

- Last Date of – 20 April, 2019
- Edit option – 21st – 23rd April, 2019
- Exam Dates – May 25th & 26th , 2019
- Corrected Answer Key – June 05th , 2019
- Result Declaration – June 21st , 2019
EXAM PATTERN:
All Question Papers will be MCQ based consisting of: –
- Part A : English Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills – comprising of 25 MCQs
- Part B: Domain Knowledge – comprising of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of one/two/three or more sections. Each section can have 25 or more questions.
Admission to some Integrated Programmes/B.Voc/MBA/MCA/LLB or any other general Programme, only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/ numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.
- Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration.
There will be negative marking in CUCET-2019 in UI and PG programmes. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Questions not attempted will not be assessed and hence will not be considered for preparing final merit list.
No negative marking for research programmes of CUCET examination 2019.
Eligibility Criteria
Each university has different eligibility criteria.
- UG Courses: Candidates must qualify the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
- Integrated Courses: Candidates should pass the Intermediate or equivalent examination from any board.
- PG Courses: Candidates should hold the Bachelor’s degree in the respective qualifying exam for which they are applied.
- M.Phill/Ph.D Courses: The applying candidate should hold the Master’s degree.
- Appearing Candidates: The candidates those are in final year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
