IIM Rohtak introduces a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from under-graduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG). Programme aims at molding the outstanding young students managerial and leaders.

Admissions

The students keen to apply for Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) batch 02 (2020-25) will undergo a rigorous selection process as given below.  

Admission Criteria (IPM 2020-25):

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this programme.

• General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020
• • SC,ST and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020

Selection Procedure:

Stage I: Online Registration

• • (i)  Interested applicants who fulfil the above mentioned eligibility criteria will fill the registration form that aims at evaluating applicant’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
  • • (ii) The eligible applicants will pay non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 3890/- (Three Eight Hundred and Ninety Only)

Stage II: IPM Aptitude Test 2020

• • All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test that will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English of the applicant.

• • IPM AT 2020 will be conducted on May 1, 2020 from 9 AM to 11 AM. The test will be conducted by TCS at PAN India locations including test centres in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

• • IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of following sections:

Note: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple choice questions.

Stage III: Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)

• •  The announcement of Call for Personal Interviews (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) will be done in First/ Second Week of May 2020. The shortlisting will be based on the IPM AT 2020 scores.

• •  The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.

•  The interviews are proposed to be held Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Rohtak tentatively in 3^rd and 4^th week of May 2020.

 Stage IV:  Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance 

• •  The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score as mentioned below:

• • The announcement of Merit List and sending of Offer Letters to the selected candidates will be done by Second Week of June 2020. The candidates receiving the offer letter for IIM Rohtak IPM Admission 2020 and accepting the offer within the stipulated date will require to deposit Offer Acceptance Amount (as mentioned in the offer letter) through online payment link.

Stage V: Provisional Admission to IPM 02 (2020-25)

• • The candidates accepting the offer of admission to IPM 02 (2020-25) will be given confirmation letter. The candidate is required to pay the First Year Programme Fee (as mentioned in the confirmation letter) and need to report to the institute campus for on campus registration in first week of July 2020 as per the communicated schedule.

• If the candidate registers for the programme, his/her OAA will be adjusted with the First Year Programme Fee.

• Further, on the day of reporting in the campus for registration, the admission team will do physical verification of the documents.
• Withdrawal of OAA: In case a candidate withdraws after paying the Offer Acceptance Amount, the OAA will be refunded after deducting processing charges of Rs. 20,000/-

• Withdrawal of Provisional Registration: In case a candidate withdraws before the in-campus registration, the first year programme fee will be refunded after deducting processing charges as per the norms.

• Last Date for any withdrawal of Offer will be ‘On or before the date of On Campus Registration’. No refund of programme fee will be permissible after the date of registration.
• The academic session will begin in First week of August 2020. The allocation of hostel room to the candidate will be done on sharing basis. Hostel rooms for DAP category will be arranged on the ground floor.

Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in IIM Indore

Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, AMBA London (4th and 5th Year). It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. 

After 3 years of intensive study of foundational disciplines, the IPM students train as managers along with the students of the Institute’s 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), undertaking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5.

IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of year 2, and a business internship between years 4 and 5. This experiential learning inculcates leadership qualities in them and hones their managerial skills further.

The Indian Institutes of Management Act 2017 came into force from January 31, 2018. At the end of the five year Integrated Programme, the participants would be awarded with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Programme) by IIM Indore on successful completion of programme requirements.

Selection Process

The students undergo a rigorous selection process:

• An application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant.
• An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
• Shortlisted candidates appear for Written Ability Test (WA) & Personal Interview (PI). The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

Fees and Accommodation

The course fee for resident Indians for the first three years of the IPM would be Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh) per annum and Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees six lakh) per annum for International applicant. Course fee for the fourth and fifth years would be as per prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fees. The course fee includes lodging, access to lectures, internet facilities and library.

Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in IIM Rohtak

IIM Rohtak introduces a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from under-graduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG). Programme aims at molding the outstanding young students managerial and leaders.

On successful completion of academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded with Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Rohtak.  If any student intends to exit after successfully completing the programme requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

The programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. A year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on the management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.

IIM Indore IPM 2020 Admissions Calendar

1. Eligibility Criteria

Age: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2000 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1994).
• Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020.
• Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: Candidate should have Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category).

NOTE: Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2019 can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.

2. Application Procedure

Eligible candidates should submit their application online (visit www.iimidr.ac.in) during the period Monday, February 17, 2020 to Monday, March 30, 2020 and pay the online non-refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 4,130/- (Rupees Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty only, inclusive of GST @18%) / Rs.2,065/- (Rupees Two Thousand Sixty Five only, inclusive of GST @18% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates).

Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PwD categories need to produce valid Caste certificate(s) in support of their reservation category and candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to produce a valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under EWS category.

No change in the category will be entertained once the application is submitted.

3. Selection Procedure

Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 20 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore on April 30, 2020.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT), Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear either in AT and WAT & PI or both shall not be considered for selection.
